Card Bullpen Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Card Bullpen collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Card Bullpen is operated by Eventkrowd, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company doing business as Card Bullpen, 5940 S Rainbow Blvd Ste 400 PMB 233398, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118 ("we," "us"). It covers the Card Bullpen app at app.cardbullpen.com, our mobile apps, and www.cardbullpen.com.
Card Bullpen is currently a free, invite-only beta. We do not take payments and do not collect payment information.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, which is how you sign in (we email you a sign-in link or code; there are no passwords). We also keep basic account details: when you joined, your onboarding progress, an optional display name, your account status, and when you last visited.
Your collection. The cards you add and what you record about them: titles, sets, grades, quantities, notes, photos you take or upload, and, if you choose to enter them, what you paid, when, and where you bought them. What you paid is private to your account and never shown to anyone else.
Invoices and receipts you upload. If you use the feature that reads an invoice or receipt to fill in what you paid, we process the text or PDF you provide.
Questions you ask. If you use "Ask Bullpen," we process your question together with the details of your collection needed to answer it.
Feedback. If you send feedback, we store your message, your email address, the screen you were on, and the app version.
Notifications. If you turn on notifications, we store your device's notification address or token so we can reach you. It is currently linked to your email address.
eBay (optional). If you connect your eBay account, we store the authorization eBay gives us and the records we sync for the features you use, such as your purchase history and the auctions you watch. You can disconnect at any time.
Usage and technical information. We keep a simple record of which days you used the app, kept for up to 45 days, so we can see how many testers are active. We also keep technical logs of requests and errors to run and secure the service.
Our website. On www.cardbullpen.com we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. If you click "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site; you can change this anytime with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address through Formspree.
What we do not do. We do not run advertising or ad trackers, the app itself uses no third-party analytics, and we do not sell or share your personal information.
How we use it
To run Card Bullpen: catalog your collection, identify cards, show estimates and market information, send the notifications you turn on, answer your questions, sync eBay if you connect it, respond to your feedback, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We also use aggregated or de-identified information, which does not identify you, to improve our market data. Market values are computed from public marketplace sales, not from other people's private collections, and your collection is never shown to other users.
Who helps us
We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and only what each needs:
- Cloudflare hosts the service and stores our databases, your photos, and our logs, sends our sign-in emails, and counts website visits without cookies.
- Anthropic provides the AI we use to answer your questions, identify cards from photos, and read invoices you upload. It receives your question and the relevant collection details (such as card names, estimates, and your watch or sell targets), the card photo you submit, or the invoice you upload. What you paid is included only when it is visible in your own account settings.
- Sentry helps us find and fix errors. It is set up not to receive personal information; we strip email addresses, sign-in details, and IP addresses from error reports.
- Apple delivers notifications to Apple devices and distributes our iPhone app.
- eBay receives your authorization and returns your data, only if you connect your eBay account.
- Google measures how visitors use www.cardbullpen.com, on the website only and only if you accept analytics.
- Formspree receives your email address if you join the waitlist on our website.
- Market data providers (including ScraperAPI, 130point, GemRate, and CardSight) receive card searches, such as a card's name or a grading certificate number, to fetch public sales and population data. They do not receive your name, email, or account details.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if Card Bullpen is sold or merged, with notice to you.
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. When you do:
- Your eBay connection is removed right away.
- After a 14-day grace period, in case you change your mind, we delete your account, collection, photos, feedback, notification settings, and the rest of your account data.
- Security records of signed-out sessions expire on their own within 30 days.
- Our error-monitoring and email providers keep their own logs for their standard retention periods, and we cannot delete individual entries from them.
- Market observations that were already de-identified stay, with no link to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. Email [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law requires. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Card Bullpen is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is limited to the operator. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and on our providers' global networks.
Changes
If we make a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
